A piece that asks for your presence. The japanese paper hangs like a curtain, breathing with the light as it shifts and softens while the flame slowly fades. And when the candle reaches its end, the piece calls you back, to take the side handles, roll the paper like a scroll, and offer it a new flame. Each gesture a renewal, each light a rebirth.
